Meet “Ms. Kim!”

May 17, 2010

Name: Kim Patterson

Position: Business Director

What You Do: A lot of fun stuff! Every day is different 🙂 Primarily my job is to oversee the “admin side” of camp and to be the “camp mom.” Love it all! We have a wonderful team!

How long have you worked at COH? 7 years

Best thing about working at camp: The ministry, the staff, and the COH families. What an awesome privilege it is to be a part of a ministry and see first hand the impact of Christ in peoples’ lives.

Favorite thing to do when not at camp: Spend time with my “3” boys, get together with family and friends, enjoy fun time with my girl friends, walk, read, and eat chocolate (I do this at camp, too!)

Favorite Bible Verse: This year my theme verse is Galatians 5:1, Freedom in Christ. “It is for freedom that Chris has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be? I would be Batman, because I like the Batmobile.

Complete this sentence: “When I was a kid, I dreamed of one day _____”

When I was a kid, I dreamed of one day working on Wall Street.

Somehow I don’t see how you and Wall Street would have worked out. You are wayyyy to cheery for Wall Street. 🙂 Maybe they need a dose of Mrs. P.

Not to be a wordsmith (well OK maybe), but Christ will set us free not Chris. Reminds me of a funny in our bulletin that said “Don’t give your money to Christ on Sunday, he loses your checks. Of course we meant Chris.
